QuickThoughts App: Is It A Scam?

Quick Thoughts review scam or not?

For a long time, I used an app called QuickThoughts for taking surveys and earning Amazon gift cards. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon so it was nice to be able to save a little money here and there. The way QuickThoughts works is you take surveys on your phone or tablet and get a $1.00 for every survey you complete. One of the reasons I liked this app so much is because if you got disqualified from a survey it would usually happen pretty quickly AND they would still give you $0.10 for your trouble.

The one big thing I didn’t like is that you have to have at least $10.00 in your account before you can get a gift card. And getting actual cash isn’t an option.

I used this app for a long time and never had any issues until recently. I logged in and I just got a message that said “There is an issue with your account. Please contact us.” So I e-mailed them and asked what was wrong with my account. Several days went by and I didn’t hear from them at all so I e-mail them again. A few days after that they replied asking for more information (like my home address, where I accessed my account last, what type of phone I was using, etc.)

I e-mailed back and answered all their questions. They simply said they would send the issue to someone else in their company. And that’s the last thing I’ve heard from them. I was about $0.30 away from having $10.00 and getting another Amazon gift card.

Is QuickThoughts A Scam?

Like I said, I used them a long time and never had any issues at all. Then suddenly they lock my account and refuse to give me an actual reason. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. They take forever to respond and then just say they’ll pass the issue on to someone else. So if you do decide to use their app I suggest cashing out every single time you can. A lot of people let money sit in their account so they’ll get a big payment all at once but it’s really not worth it. It’s much better to get scammed out of $10 than to get scammed out of $20 or more, right?

I can’t tell anyone if they should give the app a try or not. All I can say is proceed with caution. As of right now, my account is still locked and they aren’t telling me anything at all. In fact, I’m not the only person having issued with QuickThoughts. If you look at their newest reviews in the Google Play store you can see other people are having a lot of problems too.
