There are plenty of ways to get airline miles without actually flying. Here are just a few ways to earn free airline miles.
E-Rewards is a survey panel where you earn points for every survey you complete. These points can be redeemed for different rewards, including free airline miles with AAdvantage and a few other companies.
Co-branded Airline Credit Card
If you sign up for a co-branded airline credit card (and you meet the minimum spending requirement) you can often get enough airline miles to pay for at least one free flight. Of course, you should always consider a few things before signing up for an airline credit card. Which airlines are in your area? And can you actually hit the minimum spending requirement with your normal purchases?
However, if you don’t want to use just one airline there are also some flexible credit cards that let you transfer airlines. One of these cards is the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
Get Free Airline Miles On Hotels And Rental Cars
Many airlines offer deals on hotel stays and car rentals. Many times you can earn between a few hundred to a few thousand airline miles just by booking a hotel or renting a car through their site. Sites like Rocketmiles let you rack up free airline miles on hotel rentals.
Online Shopping Portals
Some big airline companies have shopping portals that let you earn free airline miles just by clicking through on their site and purchasing something. Southwest Rapid’s shopping site gives you between 1-10 miles per dollar spent.
Sometimes these portals also offer special deals for doing things like switching cable or phone providers.
Some airlines give free miles just for eating at certain restaurants. All you have to do is sign up and use your registered card to pay for dinner at eligible places. American, Delta, and Southwest are just a few airline companies that have this kind of reward program.
